Ströpsta, Nykvarn - Sweden 🇸🇪

The project “Ströpsta“ comprises 178 new rental residential properties in a group of multifamily three storey buildings in a beautiful environment between the dynamic area of Stockholm and the beautiful surroundings around lake Mälaren. The residential units is built using prefabricated volume elements in massive wood (CLT) and they are deigned to fulfil the minimum requirements in Sweden. The volume elements are produced by Sizes Construction in their factory in Oskarshamn and then, after transport to Nykvarn, efficiently piled together to these attractive buildings. Acouwood has been responsible for the acoustic design for these buildings specifically (but also the overall modular development). Acouwood also carried out final measurements to confirm that the requirements were fulfilled.
