In Strängnäs, Sweden, this project comprises three buildings with 111 dwellings in up to six storeys and it was finished in March 2023. It is a CLT building with normal acoustic performance, following the Swedish minimum requirements, in acoustic figures, DnT,w+C50-3150 ≥ 52 dB and L´nT,w+CI,50-2500 ≤ 56 dB. Our mission was to carry out noise mapping for building permit, provide design of façade/windows, predict sound insulation of structural components and flanking transmission through junctions, and finally to carry out verification measurements. The developer is Bergsundet development, Architect is Between the Lines Architecture and the building contractor, BJN Projekt AB.
