Kolla Parkstad, Kungsbacka - Sweden 🇸🇪

The project Kolla Parkstad comprises four new five storey multifamily buildings located in the west coast of Sweden just south of the Swedish second city, Göteborg. The residential units are built using prefabricated volume elements in massive wood (CLT) and they are deigned to fulfil the minimum requirements in Sweden. The volume elements were produced by the former company Sizes Construction in their factory in Oskarshamn and then, after transport to Kungsbacka, efficiently piled together to attractive buildings. Acouwood has been responsible for the acoustic design for these buildings specifically (but also the overall modular development). They were designed to met minimum legal requirements in Sweden. Acouwood also carried out final measurements to confirm that the requirements were fulfilled.
