Porsen Nyköping

Close to the centre of Nyköping we find this project containing 152 apartments over 4 stories that was finished in the autumn 2020. It is a CLT building with volume elements from Sizes Works AB that fulfils the Swedish sound requirements or, in acoustic figures, DnT,w+C50-3150 ≥ 52 dB and L´nT,w+CI,50-2500 ≤ 56 dB. Our mission was to predict the sound insulation by, among other things, design the junctions and finally carry out verification measurements. The client is “Bergsundet”, and the Architect is “Smidemans arkitekter” and “ES-A arkitekter”.
