Byggemenskap Gården is a four-storey CLT building in Uppsala. Gården is a building community with a strong focus on social, economic, and ecological sustainability. The unique social environment of a building community made it possible to experiment with novel technical solutions while retaining a high degree of flexibility. Neighbors are more like an extended family, which opens up a pragmatic approach when optimizing the sound requirements. We value this highly at Acouwood - to propose adequate sound requirements to our clients and develop tailored recommendations instead of "overkill solutions" - and thus, we are grateful and proud to have been the acoustician of this enjoyable project.
