The legal process of erecting a new building can sometimes take a very long time. With the project Ottebro Lada, this process was sped up considerably by constructing a building that replaced the existing barn. The site has been home to an old farm dating back to the 17th century and was remodeled for residential use. The house comprises eight dwellings with a load-bearing CLT structure, including outer walls. The floor construction utilized a screed on an impact sound layer and a suspended gypsum ceiling. Acouwood was involved in the project from start to finish, including field measurements.
